Smucker's Marshmallow Topping, 12.25 oz

Smucker's Marshmallow Topping is the spoonable version of the marshmallow flavor most people know from a jar of creme, thinned into a smooth sauce that drapes over cold ice cream instead of tearing at it. The 12.25 oz jar earns its place next to the hot fudge and butterscotch: it is built to be served, not baked.

Marshmallow creme is stiff and tacky, made for spreading on bread and folding into fudge. This is looser. A spoonful slumps off the back of the spoon and settles into the ridges of a scoop, so a sundae made at the kitchen counter ends up looking like one made at a soda fountain. Layer it under hot fudge for a black-and-white, or swirl a spoonful into a milkshake before blending.
